What to Expect
Where should I park?
We reserve special parking for our first-time guests close to the building. There is plenty of space and it is clearly marked, so please, be our guest and use the Visitor reserved parking. Handicap parking is also available in the same area.
What time does the worship service begin and what is it like?
Our service begins at 10:45 a.m. in the Worship Center. There are two buildings and the building on the left is the Worship Center. We serve coffee in the foyer. Our service consists of contemporary music, prayer, and Bible-centered preaching that is relevant to your life.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you are joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than your clothes. Casual wear is always acceptable at Fellowship. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a T-shirt. Others prefer to put on their "Sunday best" and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
An offering of tithes is collected during our service as an act of worship to the Lord. The offering is an opportunity for the members and regular attenders of Fellowship Bible Church to support the ministry and mission of the church. If you are our guest, we don't expect you to put money in the offering and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. Don't feel embarrassed. Many of our members contribute on alternate weeks, once per month, or even through the mail, so you won't be the only one just passing the plate.
Where do my children go?
Your children are welcome to join you in the worship service regardless of their age, if you prefer. As you approach the church, you will discover two buildings. The building on the right is called the Activity Center (see picture). Inside, the first three doors on the right are the Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Nursery. You are welcome to register your children and leave them in safe hands while you enjoy the worship service.
Children who are of school age are included in the worship and praise part of our service. Toward the end of the praise time, an announcement will appear on the screen dismissing the children grades K through 4th grade to Children's Church.
For those who choose to keep their babies and young children with them during the worship service, a Mother's Lounge is provided off of our main Foyer, if the need arises.
So, what should you expect?
Expect to be in the company of a congregation of believers who have met to worship the Lord in a contemporary setting. Our pastor preaches from the New International Version of the Bible and the believers at Fellowship expect to lift their hearts and voices to God in praise to Him, expect to hear from God, expect to grow in their relationship with the Lord, and expect to love and be loved.
As our guest, you will discover that it doesn't matter what your spiritual, ethnic, or economic status happens to be, you will fit right in and be accepted. Many people who come from a diversity of backgrounds experience God in a very real way at Fellowship Bible Church.
